2024 Fall Combine Competition
After a successful National Championship Tournament in April of 2024, the CRFC looks forward to the 3rd annual Fall Combine Competition to kick off the 2024-2025 season! This competition is the initial test of the year's work by each team of students and is their opportunity to earn seeding for the National Championship Tournament in April!
Notre Dame snuck away from ONU with the title of Fall Combine Champions for the first time in school history last season earning them the 1 Seed in the National Championship Tournament. The 2022 Fall Combine Champions, Valparaiso University, fell to 3rd place while Calvin and Trine each performed better than ever before with Trine winning the Oklahoma Drill Tournament. Will Notre Dame win the first ever back-to-back Fall Combine Championships? Will ONU ride the momentum of their 2024 National Championship to a victory of their own? Will Valparaiso come back for the crown that was theirs in 2022 or will a new dark horse rise from the rest of the Conference? Tune in on November 16th when the 3rd annual Fall Combine Competition will be hosted at Ohio Northern Uniersity.
2025 National Championship Tournament
The CRFC looks forward to the 12th annual National Championship Tournament to wrap up the 2024-2025 season! This competition is the ultimate test of the year's work by each team of students and is the final opportunity to battle it out on the robotic gridiron!
Ohio Northern upset 1 Seed Notre Dame for the first Championship in 10 seasons with the last time coming in 2014. Valparaiso won bronze in the Consolation Game beating Calvin University who beat Navy in Calvin's first ever game in CRFC history. Will ONU repeat like they did in 2013-2014? Will Notre Dame break their streak of losing in every Championship game since 2019? Valparaiso had never missed a Championship game in their team's history until ONU knocked them out, will they return to that familiar place this year?
